Saturday Morning: 6:30am - 7:30am The parking lot of the Jones Center @ UNCP.
the transition area will open up for TRIATHLETES at 6:30am. Only athletes and volunteers are allowed in the transition area or on the race course. Athletes must have their transition area set up no later than 7:30am.
If you are not yet registered you may also register for the race between 6:30am - 7:15am
Triathletes will also pick up their timing chips and get their body markings. all of this must be done before 7:30am.
At 7:30am we will begin to line up the athletes to begin our opening ceremony and parade them into the pool area.
The race starts promptly at 8:10am
AWARDS: awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups:

The Tri-Warriors Youth Triathlon Race Packet is the most important document you will need for this event. Please make sure you download and become familiar with it.
Friday Night Before the race: 5:00 - 6:15 Jones Center @ UNCP.
If you are not yet registered but want to race, you can register Friday night or If you are already registered and want to pick up your race packet, you can do this Friday night between 5:00 pm - 5:45pm
From 5:45pm - 6:15pm we will have a pre-race meeting. This ,meeting will answer any questions you may have and is highly recommended for first time racers. WE WILL STAY UNTIL THE LAST QUESTIONED IS ANSWERED.
The Tri-Warriors Youth Triathlon is extremely fun, extremely safe, but a little challenging. Although a young child might have the energy to complete this race without any training, we recommend that your child prepares for this race. At a minimum your child must be able to swim, ride a bike and run or walk without assistance from another person. Kids are permitted to use swimming aids in the pool and they can have training wheels on their bikes. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us.
